Frequently Asked Questions
Can I bring a guest?
No. The current rate for your registration only covers one attendee. Per our guest registrant policy, guest registration is restricted to individuals 21+ who are the spouse/partner of the attendee, who are not current or past municipal or public officials, are not affiliated with any exhibitor, and would have no professional reason to attend.
What is the registration deadline?
Registration closes on May 22.
If I am a graduating student before the conference takes place, should I register as a student or a nonmember attendee?
We will honor your student enrollment status at the time that you register. For example, if you are graduating in May, you are still able to attend the conference in June.
Is there a dress code?
There is not an official dress code for the conference. This is a relaxed setting for members and nonmembers to connect and network. However, first impressions do matter. Keep your attire in mind as you are networking and connecting with local leaders and state officials.
Can I attend any session, or do I have to sign up for a session in advance?
Your registration grants you access to all of the sessions at the conference, with the exception of the Academy for Excellence in Local Governance Graduate Class on Wednesday. That class is only available to graduates of that program who paid for the class in advance.
Where can I find the agenda?
A preliminary schedule is available on our website. You can use this as a guide to which sessions better align with your interests and map out your day.
