The Maryland Municipal League's Hall of Fame honors current or former elected municipal officials (living or deceased) who serve 20 years or more.
- Inductees must have completed at least 20 years as an elected municipal official by June 30 of the year of the induction.
- Terms of service need not be consecutive.
- MML does not track years of service. Municipalities must verify their official's years of service prior to submission.
