Orientation for Municipal Officials

Unavailable anywhere else, our Orientation for Municipal Officials (OMOs) are designed to bring officials up to speed on what the League does for its members and how they can get involved. OMOs are quick tutorials on MML initiatives, programs and benefits. As an added value, each OMO provides an informative workshop that counts as an elective for the Academy for Excellence in Local Governance.

OMOs are ideal for:

• Newly elected officials who have taken office within the last 12 months but haven't had a chance to attend MML's annual conference or fall conference
• Long-time elected officials or municipal staff who have always been interested in MML but aren't yet engaged in League programming
• Officials interested in joining the Academy for Excellence in Local Governance
