ezVOLTZ Wins NASPO ValuePoint EV Charging Solutions contract

ezVOLTz, one of MML's Community Partners is excited to announce that ezVOLTz has won a contract to be one of the suppliers for the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) ValuePoint EV Charging Solutions contract.

The selection process was led by the State of Maryland and affords local governments the opportunity to streamline the procurement process. As ezVOLTz traveled the State over the past year and visited many of the municipalities, the need for the creation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and the procurement process was one of the top concerns raised by many local governments and this contract vehicle helps address that process.

MML ByLaws Amendments

All formal requests for an amendment to the MML Bylaws for the upcoming 2024 Annual Business Meeting must be submitted in writing no later than April 12th to MML CEO Theresa Kuhns. A formal letter with direct wording, background of the request, and member municipality is required. If the amendment request is on behalf of an MML-sponsored group, please include a cover letter, approved meeting minutes, action item and vote.

Maryland Mayors Association Winter Conference Registration Open!

Mark your calendar for February 29th-March 1st for the 2024 MMA Winter Conference. This year, Mayors will hold the two-day event at the beautiful downtown Governor Calvert House. While the preliminary program is forthcoming, please note that our advocacy day will take place on February 29th, with continued learning through March 1st. New this year, we are opening advocacy day up to all MML members and staff! While MMA members will stand apart in gold scarves, we know that there is strength in numbers. Please have your elected and appointed staff members mark their calendars for February 29th to join you as you make your way down to the State House. An additional email will be sent out regarding Advocacy Day registration.
MML is delighted to offer discounted room rates, thanks to our ongoing partnership with the Governor Calvert House. MMA members are advised to book their hotel room asap. As the legislative season gears up, we want to ensure that our members have secured their rooms. We strongly encourage you to use the link below, if you do not, we are unable to continue to offer discounts and maintain registration costs unless we fill the room block.
