ARPA Reporting Deadline Approaching

The American Rescue Plan Act State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (SLFRF) reporting deadline is April 30, 2024. All NEUs who have received ARPA funding are required to submit this annual report, which covers expenditures incurred between April 1, 2023 and March 31, 2024. For NEUs who report quarterly, the report will cover expenditures during the period of January 1, 2024, through March 31, 2024. Keep in mind that the Municipal Technical Assistance Program (MTAP) continues to support Maryland municipalities to inform them of their reporting responsibilities throughout the month, including through individual phone calls beginning this week. 

 

As part of this support, MTAP is hosting weekly office hours sessions throughout the month. Please view the April Office Hours schedule below:

  • Wednesday April 10th from 2:00pm - 3:00pm
  • Tuesday April 16th from 10:00am - 11:00am
  • Monday April 22nd from 2:00pm - 3:00pm (With Treasury Portal Subject Matter Expert)
  • Monday April 29th from 3:00pm - 4:00pm (With Treasury Portal Subject Matter Expert)

Note: For those planning to report an estimate for administrative costs to be spent after the 2024 obligation deadline under the guidelines of the 2023 Obligations Interim Final Rule, Treasury has extended the deadline for recipients to report this estimate to July 31, 2024, for quarterly reporters, or April 30, 2025, for annual reporters. Previously, the deadline was April 30, 2024
