Municipal Tuesday Staff Registration 

Registration for our inaugural Municipal Tuesday at MMLCon24 is now open. This day has been crafted as a one-day intensive for municipal professionals designed to get busy staff members out of the office and into a collaborative environment to springboard new ideas and innovations to support municipal operations. The heavily discounted registration fee of $150 gives municipal staff attendees access to all of Tuesday’s sessions and events.

In a nod to its rich history and vibrant communities, Maryland is embarking on a journey to commemorate its 250th anniversary. Spearheaded by Executive Order and driven by a vision of statewide participation, the League is represented on the anniversary’s commission by Mayor Takisha James, Bladensburg.

The Academy for Excellence in Local Governance

This certificate program, a sponsorship between MML, MACo, LGIT and the University of Maryland, is the cornerstone of MML’s professional development offerings. Those attending the Excellence in Leadership Fall Conference will be able to receive Academy elective credits if they attend any of the following sessions:

  • Traffic Calming, Road Diets and Speed Management: Moving to Pedestrian Safety
